Apple could be heading into one of its busiest years ever. According to a growing number of industry reports and analyst notes, the company is expected to launch close to 20 new products in 2026, spanning iPhones, Macs, iPads, wearables, smart home devices, and even entirely new categories.
Beyond the usual annual updates, 2026 is shaping up as a year when Apple experiments more aggressively with form factors, pricing, and its long-term push into artificial intelligence and smart homes.
The first half of the year, from January to June, is expected to focus on refreshed versions of Apple’s core devices. A new iPhone 17e is tipped as an upgraded successor to the iPhone 16e, bringing better performance and features like the Dynamic Island to Apple’s more affordable lineup. iPads are also expected to get internal upgrades, with the base iPad moving to a newer A-series chip and the iPad Air jumping to Apple’s M4 processor.
On the Mac side, Apple is reportedly planning updates across the board. The MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are expected to move to newer M5-series chips, while the Mac Studio could see a jump to more powerful M5 Max and M5 Ultra processors. A Mac mini refresh is also said to be in the pipeline.
One of the more unusual launches expected in early 2026 is a lower-cost MacBook powered by an A18 Pro chip instead of Apple’s M-series silicon. With a 12.9-inch display and brighter colour options, it is widely seen as a student-friendly or entry-level Mac.
Apple is also expected to make a bigger push into smart homes. An all-new smart home hub, reportedly delayed until a more personalised version of Siri is ready, could finally launch in early 2026. Alongside it, Apple may introduce its own HomeKit-enabled security camera, signalling a deeper move into connected home devices.
The second half of 2026, typically Apple’s biggest launch window, could bring more dramatic changes. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected with new chips, camera upgrades, and satellite-powered features. Perhaps the most talked-about product is a foldable iPhone, which is rumoured to feature a near crease-free inner display and Touch ID built into the power button.
Wearables are also set for upgrades, with the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 expected, along with a higher-end AirPods Pro 3 model that may include new AI-driven features.
Some products, including a new Apple TV, HomePod mini, AirTag, and an updated iPad mini, have a less clear timeline but are still widely expected to arrive sometime in 2026. Looking further ahead, Apple is also said to be working on smart glasses and a Face ID-enabled doorbell, though those may land later.
If even most of these launches materialise, 2026 could mark a major expansion of Apple’s ecosystem, touching nearly every category it operates in.
