He also shared his excitement about the upcoming launches and demonstrations by adding, “We’ve got some great stuff to share—hope you enjoy! Merry Christmas.”
12 Days of OpenAI: ChatGPT Pro
OpenAI, on the first day of its 12-day event, has unveiled two major upgrades for its chatbot, ChatGPT. For starters, a new tier of ChatGPT subscription, ChatGPT Pro, and the full version of the company's o1 model have been introduced. Priced at $200 per month (approximately Rs 16,940), ChatGPT Pro provides users with unlimited access to GPT-4o, advanced voice mode, and an enhanced version of o1, known as o1 Pro Mode.
After being leaked at the start of this month, SoraAI, OpenAI's video generator could be one of the blockbuster announcements of the show. Further, ChatGPT Canvas, a writing tool that fuses the assistance of generative AI with your workload or search query, could also be introduced during these two weeks.
Many leaks and rumours also point toward the introduction of an advanced Voice Engine, which would be able to recreate human voices with just a 15-second recording. OpenAI has rolled out the stable version of its o1 model, which now replaces the preview version. It can now solve complex or multistep problems in areas such as science, coding, and mathematics, which is beneficial for most students globally.
