Paris Olympics live updates: As we wait for Manika Batra's clash against France Prithika Pavade, there is an intense table tennis match happening between Chinese Taipei and Romania.

I.C. Cheng representing Chinese Taipei is leading 3-2, but Game 6 is producing some raw emotions from both sides of the table. Samara, representing Romania, saved three match points, but eventually it was Cheng who wins it 15-13. She wins the match 4-2.

Paris Olympics live updates: Slowly but the wait is almost over as we are a little over half an hour away from India's final act of the day. India's star paddler Manika Batra will be in action against France's  Prithika Pavade in the women's round of 32. The match is scheduled to start at 12:30 am IST.

Paris Olympics live updates: The Indian men's hockey team have been very patchy so far. The unit has so far played two matches, in which they won one, while the other was a draw.

Tomorrow, they'll be in action against Ireland and will hope to return to winning ways. The match is scheduled to start at 4:45pm.

If we look at their previous performances in this edition of the Olympics, they defeated New Zealand 3-2, out of which one goal was highly debatable. Had it not been given a goal, India would have managed a 2-2 result.

Similarly, today against Argentina, India failed to find answers throughout the match and could only find the equaliser in the 59th minute, literally a minute before the match would have been over.

Paris Olympics Live Updates: In what was a disappointing day for India, Manu Bhaker and her teammate Sarabjot Singh emerged as the shining light. They have qualified for the bronze medal match in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

Apart from her, Lakshya Sen secured a straight games win against Julian Carraggi.

However, Arjun Babuta, Ramita Jindal missed out on medals in the 10m air rifle men's and women's final. The Indian men's hockey team were held to a 1-1 draw by Argentina.

The Indian men's archery team also disappointed and conceded a 2-6 defeat against Turkey in the quarterfinal.

Rohan Bopanna has confirmed that Olympics 2024 was his last in Indian colours.

"This will definitely go down as my last event for the country. I totally understand where I am and now, I am just going to be enjoying the tennis circuit as long as that goes," Bopanna said, ruling himself out from the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

He has already announced his retirement from the Davis Cup. "This is already a big bonus for where I am. I never even thought that I'll be representing India for two decades. Right from 2002, making my debut and 22 years later still getting to represent India. I'm extremely proud of that,” he added with child-like joy in his voice.

If we look at the scores, India managed to win the third set, while Turkey won Set 1, 2, and 4.

If we take a quick look at the results so far, Arjun has reclaimed the second spot with 167.8 after three rounds in Stage 2.

The campaign for India's women's doubles pair hasn't been great, having opened their campaign with a straight games defeat against South Korea. In fact at this rate, it is more or less impossible to see them move to the next round.

The Stage 1, which are two series of five shots each are done. Ramita accumulated a total of 104 points.
