Ahead of the first ODI against South Africa in Ranchi, team's talismanic batter Virat Kohli, swashbuckling Rishabh Pant, and Chennai Super Kings teammate Ruturaj Gaikwad were hosted by MS Dhoni at his residence. The moment created a major buzz among fans as few were even present outside the residence to catch a glimpse of India's iconic cricketers.
What got fans even more emotional was the fact Dhoni personally drove back Kohli to the team hotel post the reunion. The videos of the moment instantly went viral on social media, with many calling it "reunion of the year".

The moment also speaks about the bond Kohli shares with Dhoni.
Meanwhile, after the recent Test debacle against the Proteas as India endured yet another whitewash at home, the Men In Blue are ready for their next assignment, which is a three-match ODI series. The first match is set to be played at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi on November 30, following which the team travels to Raipur and Visakhapatnam respectively for the next two encounters.

The series will once again bring back Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to the centerstage as they now only play the 50-over format. Rohit had a superb outing in Australia last month as he finished as the highest run-scorer from the three-match series. The former India skipper amassed 202 runs at an average of 101, which included a 125-ball 121. Kohli, on the other hand, registered consecutive ducks before playing a decisive knock, which allowed India a solitary win in Sydney. The duo will hope to carry forward the momentum against the Proteas.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul will be leading the side in the absence of Shubman Gill, who is currently recovering from a neck injury. Shreyas Iyer, his deputy, is also not fit after sustaining a serious injury during the final ODI against Australia.
