Yuzvendra Chahal was released by Rajasthan Royals and is now set to go under the hammer as one of the leading choice for franchises. He holds the record for most wickets in the history of the tournament and has accounted for 205 scalps from 160 matches. He is also the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is. Chahal had won the Purple Cap in the 2022 season by claiming 27 wickets in 17 matches while representing Rajasthan Royals. His ability to deceive batters will make him a prime target for franchises.

Kiwi spinner Santner was a part of Chennai Super Kings in 2024 season and made just three appearances. In the three matches, Santner claimed two wickets at an economy of 7.11. Despite limited opportunities in IPL, Santner's all-round skills and proven international experience will certainly attract significant interest from franchises in the upcoming auction.

Sundar's impressive performances in recent Test outing against New Zealand must have caught the eye of the franchises. Brar was the mainstay of Punjab Kings bowling line-up in the last couple of seasons and produced reliable performances. He has so far claimed 25 wickets in 41 matches. His disciplined left-arm spin and ability to contain runs sets him in a prime position to grab a lucrative deal at the mega auction.

The Sri Lanka all-rounder was part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru from 2021 to 2023 and claimed 35 wickets in 26 matches. He was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 auction but was ruled out of the tournament due to a chronic heel injury in his left foot. Hasaranga is a great addition when it comes to slow legbreaks and can be handy with powerful cameos down the order.
