India vs Pakistan: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule for Champions Trophy 2025 on Tuesday (December 24). The mega-clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan will take place at a neutral venue in Dubai on February 23, 2025. Besides India and Pakistan, two other teams are also part of Group A (New Zealand and Bangladesh). India will begin their campaign of the Champions Trophy against Bangladesh on February 20, and will face the Kiwis on March 2 after the blockbuster game against Pakistan on February 23.

Earlier, BCCI had refused that Team India would travel to Pakistan for the CT fixtures, amid security concerns. A hybrid model was proposed and accepted by both Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Indian cricket board. All of India's games will take place at a neutral venue, including the semifinals and final if the team reaches the knockout stages.

“UAE was finalized as the venue after PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with the Emirates Cricket Board chairman Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan,” PCB spokesman Amir Mir had said in a statement on Sunday.

In other update, Pakistan will not come to India for any ICC event taking place in the 2024-27 cycle which means the games for the side in the 2025 Women's World Cup will also take place at a neutral venue.
