A farmer in Kerala had no idea that his family's pet goat would become famous. However, a black pygmy goat called Karumbi currently holds the Guinness World Record. She has been referred to as the world's shortest goat.
The World's Smallest Goat
Her little size was known to her owner, Peter Lenu. Friends, though, convinced him to try for a world record. Karumbi, born in 2021, stands only 40.50 cm (1 ft 3 in) tall. She belongs to the Canadian pygmy breed, which is characterized by its short legs and stout body.
Karumbi is lively even though she is small. There are goats, ducks, rabbits, and cows on the farm where she lives. She is one of the most friendly animals on his farm, Lenu says.
Lenu is even more thrilled because Karumbi is expecting a baby. He believes that her kids can go on to break records. He took Karumbi to see a veterinarian after one of the visiting guests suggested filing for the record. It was confirmed that the goat was in good health and fully developed.
Lenu seeks out his animals and ensures they are in good health. He is now waiting for Karumbi's child with great eagerness, expecting it would be as memorable.
