By Friday morning, over 42.80 lakh devotees joined the sacred ritual, adding to the massive total count of bathers. With 19 days left for the grand event to conclude, Mela officials anticipate that the total number of pilgrims could surpass an astounding 50 crore.

Even after the completion of the three main Amrit Snans—Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Basant Panchami—the enthusiasm of pilgrims remains undiminished. People from across India and the world continue to arrive daily, making the Maha Kumbh a global spiritual phenomenon.
