100 projects get Green Good Design Awards

June 07, 2015 / 12:15 IST

The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design had organized the 2015 Green Good Design Awards. Consumer products, architecture, and urban planning projects from 24 countries topped this year’s list as The Green 100. This year’s winners of the awards include a new campus plan in Egypt to a farming kindergarten in Vietnam. These projects are redefining our future and proving that design can be a force for positive social change. A total of 65 product designs were part of the 100. Apart from that, 25 building and urban planning projects also join the 100 list, and include the MDU, a mobile dental unit designed by San Francisco-based architect David Montalba and the Blooming Bamboo House by Vietnamese studio H&P Architects — the first floating house that can withstand floods up to three metres. http://www.architectureanddesign.com.au/news/world-s-top-100-green-design-products-and-architec
