Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the Indian Government is in discussion with chip makers like Nvidia for its 10472 crore AI mission, as part of which it plans to procure 10,000 GPUs or Graphic Processing Units. In an interview with Moneycontrol’s Chandra R Srikanth in Bengaluru, Minister Vaishnaw also spoke about the upcoming spectrum auctions, responsible AI, a long-term solution to the Google billing row and why manufacturing will be a very big part of PM Modi’s third term in office.
