X user asks Anand Mahindra for Rs 1 lakh to buy Mahindra shares. Check his response

Mahindra Group chairperson Anand Mahindra is known to use social media to occasionally help people in need.

Industrialist Anand Mahindra is known for his acts of charity on social media and often gets asked for help to which the industrialist occasionally does respond. On Wednesday, however, when an X user asked him for Rs 1 lakh so that he could buy Mahindra shares, even the billionaire could not help but be taken aback and feel amused.

"What an idea, Sirji. Aapki himmat ke liye taaliyaan! Poochne mein kya jaata hai?" Anand Mahindra said, which roughly translates to "I laud your courage! What was the harm in asking?"

Not just Anand Mahindra, but even other X users were amused by the request.

"True, what's the harm in asking? Maybe one day when he's in the mood, he'll grant your request," commented one user while another said, "He just wants to route your money through him. He will use your money to pay you."

Meanwhile, encouraged by the interaction, a third user wrote to the industrialist: "Please give me Rs 15 lakh. I want to buy Mahindra Thar."

In another of his recent interactions on X, the Mahindra Group chairperson reacted to a video of a boy in Noida who wanted his father to buy him a Mahindra Thar for Rs 700. Sharing the clip, the industrialist said, "My friend Sooni Taraporevala sent me this saying 'I love Cheeku!' So I watched some of his posts on Instagram and now I love him too. My only problem is that if we validated his claim and sold the Thar for 700 bucks, we’d be bankrupt pretty soon".
