Woman thanks CISF officials for recovering lost diamond ring at Bengaluru airport: 'Highly appreciated'

Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport witnessed a heartwarming incident when a woman recovered her lost diamond ring within hours, thanks to the diligent efforts of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Aakanksha Singh, the relieved passenger, took to social media to express her gratitude. "Today at Kempegowda International Airport (@kempintairprtps), I lost my diamond ring."

She extended her appreciation to the CISF officials who assisted in the search, naming Rajesh Singh and Vinay Kumar Rai. "With the help of Mr Rajesh Singh & Mr Vinay Kumar Rai from @CISFHQrs, I was able to find my ring," she shared.

"All thanks to their coordination and helping nature. Your help is highly appreciated,” she wrote.


In response, the CISF acknowledged her gratitude and assured travellers of their continued dedication to safety and assistance. “Warm greetings from @CISFHQrs. CISF is always there to help & ensure your travel is safe, secure, and smooth. Thank you for your valuable feedback. It has been forwarded to CISF officers at the airport,” they posted.

The incident garnered attention from social media users who shared their admiration for the CISF's efforts. One user commented, “Such stories are for sharing. Thanks for doing and so pleased you found it.” Another added, “CISF at airports are really some nice people out there from security forces.”

A user also gave a special shout-out to the CISF officers involved, stating, “Big salute to Mr Rajesh Singh and Mr Vinay Kumar Rai of CISF. Your dedication and timely assistance to trace the diamond ring of the passenger is well appreciated. Keep up the good work.”

Kempegowda International Airport is equipped with Lost and Found counters at both terminals. Passengers who misplace belongings can report to these counters, where staff will contact owners via mail for identification and retrieval of their items.
