Telangana minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday responded to a young girl asking him if Hyderabad will get a Disneyland. An X user shared a video of his daughter’s question for the state IT minister.
“My daughter's request to KTR on Telangana elections,” Surendra Vinayakam wrote, sharing the video of the girl.
“KTR maama (uncle), can you please bring Disneyland to Hyderabad?” the girl asks in Telugu.
The minister responded to the video, saying that while he cannot promise to bring Disneyland to Hyderabad, he shall certainly give it a try.
“Can’t promise, beta (child), but will try my best,” Rao wrote.

Disneyland, arguably the world’s most iconic theme park, has parks in California, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. While there is no Disneyland in India or any other part of South Asia, a team from Disneyland was to visit Sri Lanka’s Hambantota to discuss setting up a theme park there, news agency ANI had reported in October last year.
Election to the 119 seats in the Telangana assembly will be held on November 30.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi, is trying to retain power for a third consecutive term, while the Congress has been fighting tooth and nail and went all out to make a comeback and the BJP left no stone unturned to get into power.
As many as 2,290 contestants are in the fray for the upcoming elections, including BRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, KT Rama Rao, who is his son, Telangana Congress chief A Revanth Reddy and BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar, D Arvind and Soyam Bapurao.
