Halloween is just around the corner and it is just the perfect time to get spooked. Amid that, a restaurant located in New Hampshire, US claimed that a ghost triggered its motion detector alarms. The Library Restaurant is located in the Rockingham building that is believed to be haunted.
The restaurant even shared a CCTV footage of the same that showed an entity passing through. Meanwhile, the Rockingham buildingis known for being a paranormal hotspot, more so because of the resident ghosts, particularly in the library basement. In the video shared by the eatery, a mysterious shadow was seen passing through the exterior cameras and the disturbance caused motion detectors to go off.
“Last night, for the very first time, our motion detector alarms INSIDE the building were set off by this camera motion caught on video in the dead of night outside the window. The motion detectors inside cannot see what the camera outside sees!” read the caption of the post shared on Facebook.
“It is not lights from the car - because you can see how others are picked up and there is no horizontal wind blowing. So what can this be!” the caption read further.
The video has garnered 31,000 views since being shared online. While some Facebook users were intrigued, others dismissed it as a co-incidence.
“I have been to the library many times, and I assure you that there is a female ghost in the bathroom area in the lower level,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “That’s definitely a ghost and I’ve seen plenty of them. I used to live across the street. The women’s restroom at the Library is haunted.
“It’s just steam or fog,” a third user remarked. A fourth user added, “The building's exterior should be inspected. The building settling could cause a puff of dust and a vibration causing a motion detector false alarm. Not as sexy as believing in ghosts, but a more plausible explanation.”
