Rishi Parti, the founder of Gurgaon-based Info-X Software Technology PVT LTD, has shot to limelight after his recent purchase--a Rs 190 crore penthouse in DLF's The Camellias--made headlines recently. The 16,290 square feet flat was bought at the rate of Rs 1.8 lakh per square foot, the Times of India reported, making it possibly the most expensive high-rise condominium apartment deal in NCR. The tech company paid Rs 13 crore in stamp duty and according to real estate experts, this deal could be the highest recorded per square feet for a high-rise apartment in India.

Although neither of the companies has commented on the development, here are a few pointers on the director and founder of Info-X Software Technology.

1.) Rishi Parti launched Info-X in 2001 when he was 24. The founding team had only three members. Now, the company has a team of 150 industry professionals and provides services across 15 countries.

2.) Info-X has a 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, headquartered in Gurgaon. The company provides transportation solutions, develops customisable software programs, and offers back-office documentation support to the transportation industry.

3.) Parti, 47, is an angel investor. He is also a director in three companies, including Find My Stay Pvt Ltd and Integrator Ventures Pvt Ltd.

Commenting on Parti's recent purchase, Samir Jasuja, the founder-CEO of real estate data analytics firm Propequity, said that this deal beat even Mumbai's sky-rocketing real estate prices. "This translates to a price of Rs 1.18 lakh per square foot super area and Rs 1.82 lakh per square foot carpet area. While in Delhi NCR property prices are on super area basis, in Mumbai, the same is on the carpet area. So this Gurgaon deal is miles ahead of Mumbai pricing in terms of carpet area," he said, adding that the carpet area prices in Mumbai's most expensive areas go up to Rs 1.6 lakh per square foot.

The maximum city also saw one of its most expensive high-rise apartment deal last year when a company bought three apartments in Lodha Malabar for Rs 263 crore, at the rate of Rs 1.36 lakh per square foot of carpet area.
