Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared photos on Thursday of the celebrations held for the search engine turning 25. Sharing photos on Instagram, Pichai said that it was great employees at Google offices worldwide were celebrating the organisation turning 25.
In one of the photos, Pichai could be seen addressing the employees and acknowledging them for their contribution as Google turned 25. In another photo, the employees could be seen seated next to a three-layer cake, that was brought for the celebrations.
"It's not a birthday without a birthday party - and birthday cupcakes! Great to see Googlers all around the world getting together to celebrate our 25th birthday," Pichai wrote, sharing photos from the celebrations.
On Wednesday, Pichai had shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), thanking everyone for using the search engine and challenging Google to remain up-to-date with all the latest innovations.
"Happy 25th birthday @Google ! Thanks to everyone who uses our products and challenges us to keep innovating and to all Googlers!" Pichai wrote.
With the post, he also shared a GIF that showed how the Google logo had evolved, in the last 25 years.

Pichai took over as Google CEO in 2015 after having joined the company in 2004. Currently, Google provides search in more than 150 languages and over 190 countries.
