Eve Jobs, the 27-year-old youngest daughter of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is set to marry Olympic equestrian gold-medalist Harry Charles, 26, this week in a lavish British countryside celebration. The nuptials, reportedly costing around $6.7 million, are described as a "multi-million-pound fairytale" and are being meticulously planned by celebrity event designer Stanlee Gatti.
The private but extravagant affair, scheduled to begin its celebrations on Thursday, is already "turning rural Oxfordshire upside down," the New York Post reported. The itinerary is being managed like a "military operation," with guests starting to arrive throughout the week. The star-studded guest list is expected to include notable figures such as former US vice president Kamala Harris, a close personal friend of matriarch Laurene Powell Jobs. Also anticipated are Microsoft heiresses Jennifer and Phoebe Gates, Princess Beatrice, Jessica Springsteen, and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. The bride's siblings, Reed, 33, and Erin, 29, are also expected to attend the wedding.
Eve Jobs and Harry Charles publicly debuted their relationship at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where Charles was competing. While details on Jobs' wedding looks remain under wraps, here are five things to know about the bride-to-be:
1.) Family and education: Eve is the youngest of Steve Jobs's four children, with full siblings Reed and Erin. Her half-sister is Lisa Brennan-Jobs. She earned a degree in science, technology and society in 2021 from Stanford University, the same institution where her parents met and her mother graduated, The Sun reported.
2.) Individual net worth and inheritance: Despite her family's immense wealth, Eve will not inherit the late Steve Jobs's billions, as Laurene Powell Jobs has publicly stated she does not plan to pass her $21.7 billion fortune entirely to her children. Eve's individual net worth is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1 million (approximately Rs 4.3 crore to Rs 8.5 crore), largely accumulated through her own career.
3.) Accomplished equestrian: Before stepping into the fashion world, Eve was already a competitive equestrian. In 2019, she was ranked No. 5 among the world’s top 1,000 riders under 25 by Horse Sport. She trains with renowned coach Missy Clark and regularly competes in show jumping, with a dream of competing in the Olympics and World Equestrian Games. To support her passion, her mother purchased a $15 million training ranch in Wellington, Florida, in 2016.
4.) Modeling career: Eve ventured into modeling, signing with DNA Model Management, an agency representing notable names like Kaia Gerber and Emily Ratajkowski. She started with a Glossier campaign in 2020 alongside Sydney Sweeney, and has since graced the cover of Vogue Japan, featured in a splashy Louis Vuitton campaign, and walked runways at Paris Fashion Week for luxury labels like Coperni.
5.) Philanthropic efforts: Following in the footsteps of her mother, Laurene Powell Jobs, Eve has also engaged in philanthropic endeavors.
