Vijay Shekhar Sharma is a fan of DigiYatra.

Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma heaped praised on DigiYatra, a digital travel experience that allows passengers to navigate through airports without physical documentation, and added that he wouldn’t mind paying a monthly fee for it. He also ranked the facility higher to Twitter Blue, of which Sharma is a paid subscriber, calling it “more valuable in India”.

“DigiYatra is so good that, I don’t mind paying monthly subscription for it ! Feels truly privileged to use it on T3. IMO, DigiYatra perk is way more valuable than #TwitterBlue in India”, Sharma tweeted.

He also explained why he compared the two very different services.
DigiYatra is a technological initiative by the government that aims to provide seamless air travel for passengers. With DigiYatra, passengers can complete their pre-travel document verification processes such as identity verification, security check, and boarding passes on their mobile phones, without the need for physical documentation. DigiYatra is integrated with facial recognition technology and is expected to improve the speed and accuracy of airport processes. Passengers using DigiYatra can also receive real-time notifications on flight updates and the status of their luggage.

On the other hand, Twitter Blue is a premium subscription service launched by Twitter, which allows users to access exclusive features. The features of Twitter Blue include an undo button, which allows users to retract their tweets within a specific period, bookmark folders, and reader mode, which allows users to view threads of tweets in a more organized manner. Twitter Blue also offers access to exclusive content such as newsletters and audio-only chat rooms known as Spaces.

Twitter has rolled back legacy blue ticks with many prominent personalities, who opted to not pay for the verified badge, losing their ticks.

Sharma is one of those who has paid and thus still retains his blue tick on Twitter. Twitter owner Elon Musk is paying personally for the blue ticks of LeBron James, actor William Shatner and author Stephen King after they said they would not be paying for the verified badge.
