A new Miss World will be crowned tonight in a ceremony watched by millions across the world. The grand finale of Miss World 2024 pageant will take place in Mumbai on Saturday, March 9. This is only the second time that the Miss World pageant is being held in India – the first being in 1996. The pageant is therefore returning to India after a gap of 28 years.

Where will the 71st Miss World pageant be held?
Tonight’s Miss World ceremony will be held at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the reigning Miss World, will crown her successor at the grand finale of the pageant.
What time will the grand finale begin?
The Miss World pageant will begin at 7:30 pm local time (IST) or 2 pm (GMT).
Who is the contestant from India?
India will be represented by Sini Shetty. The 22-year-old is the winner of Miss India World 2022 and is also a finance graduate.

Who is hosting Miss World 2024?
Filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young of the Philippines will co-host the event tonight. Johar had also served on the jury of the pageant in 2006.
