Mayawati's UP split: Motion passed, Opposition fumes

Mayawati's move to get the resolution to divide the state into four parts passed by a voice vote in the state Assembly and then get the House adjourned indefinitely has stumped the Opposition in the state, which was planning to put the Bhaujan Samaj Party (BSP) on the mat by bring in a no-confidence motion.
