A Bengaluru-based content creator was filming a video when two men tried to make off with her smartphone. The phone snatching attempt was captured on the content creator’s camera and the footage has since been widely circulated online.
Ruchika was creating videos for social media with a group of friends earlier this week when two men, riding a scooter, tried to snatch her phone. She was able to save the device by quickly pulling her hand down, and the phone snatchers left empty-handed. In her video, which was shared on Twitter by a page called Bangalore 360, the content creator said the men were likely observing their group from a distance. Sensing an opportunity, they struck while the group was filming videos and as a result, their phone snatching attempt got captured on camera.

The Twitter page also tagged Bengaluru City Police which took note of the incident and responded asking for exact location and contact numbers.
