Ambani family facilitates construction of sprawling temple complex in Jamnagar

The complex aims to keep India’s rich cultural and spiritual identity at the heart of the wedding festivities.

The Ambani family is preparing for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations from March 1-3 at the Jamnagar complex. Ahead of the pre-wedding festivities and the wedding itself, the Ambani family has facilitated the construction of new temples in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The temple complex will boast intricately carved pillars, sculptures of gods and goddesses, fresco-style paintings, and architecture inspired by generations of artistic heritage. The complex aims to keep India’s rich cultural and spiritual identity at the heart of the wedding festivities.

The temple complex, overseen by master sculptors, will feature age-old traditions and techniques. The initiative by the Ambani family will also showcase the talents of local artisans.

Meanwhile, the guest list for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations includes prominent figures from across the globe, including Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Ivanka Trump, daughter of former US President Donald Trump.

All the invitees will travel to Jamnagar on chartered flights from Delhi and Mumbai between 8 am and 1 pm on March 1. Each of the three nights will have a specific theme. The first day will be called “An Evening in Everland”, followed by “A Walk on the Wildside” and “Mela Rouge”. A nine-page event guide, as well as a wardrobe planner, has also been sent to the guests.
