Xiaomi Mi 4c with USB Type-C launching tomorrow

Soon after image and spec leaks of Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 4c surfaced on the web, the company executives have officially confirmed that the smartphone is indeed set for a launch tomorrow.

The official MIUI forum has a thread dedicated to the new Xiaomi Mi 4c that shows off the successor in the Mi 4 series as one powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and featuring a thin and light design.After OnePlus introduced its OnePlus 2 with USB Type-C, Xiaomi will bring the reversible port for charging and output to its new Mi 4c smartphone. The dual-SIM smartphone will draw its juice from a bigger battery.It will feature a 85-degree wide angle 5 megapixel front snapper for better group selfies with more people in the frame.

With the new MIUI 7 Android skin recently launched, Xiaomi Mi 4c will bring in it the tap to wake the screen feature.Earlier rumours have hinted at the purported Mi 4 successor with 5-inch HD display to come in two storage options and RAM variants. The 16 GB model will come packed with 2 GB of RAM while the higher 32 GB model will feature 3 GB of RAM. The new device will come in new colours and new packaging, according to the official thread.
