Based on this crowd sourced feedback, Microsoft has rolled the new software simultaneously in 190 countrie. Microsoft Wednesday has officially launched windows 10. The latest version of the operating system packs in a host of upgrades and new features. Microsoft might have gone wrong with the touch-and-tile based interface on the Windows 8 but it looks like they have finally chosen to course correct.The Windows 10 packs in the best of old and new. This update will let users easily restore the old Windows interface which means the start menu is back along with the live tiles. Microsoft has thrown a built-in virtual personal assistant called Cortana pretty much like Google Now and Apple's Siri. It's not just windows smartphone this time, but also the desktop that will have this feature. Remember Internet Explorer?The throwback web browser has finally been replaced with the Edge. The brand new browser will be integrated with Cortana.The new Xbox app will integrate the Xbox experience and allow users to stream games from their console to their desktops. So, it looks like Windows has upped its game by moving a step closer towards building a complete ecosystem. The key question now is just how well it manages to stack up against iOS and Android.
