    The new group called AI Alliance, whose members include Intel, Oracle, AMD, Anyscale, CERN, Cerebras and IIT Bombay, said it is "coming together to support open innovation and open science in AI."

    The AI Alliance aims to responsibly advance the ecosystem of open foundation models, encompassing diverse modalities, including highly capable multilingual, multi-modal, and science models that can aid in tackling society-wide challenges in climate and education.
