NAVTEQ is one of the leading global provider of maps, traffic and location data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around the world and is now supplying map and location content for Nikon’s COOLPIX AW series of compact digital cameras. This is the first COOLPIX device targeted for outdoor users. The AW100 is Nikon's first compact digital camera with waterproof, shock-proof and cold-resistant specifications. In addition to this, the device is also equipped with a number of new features, including GPS support, an electronic compass and a map display.
