When Google first announced the Nexus 7 at the Google I/O event, it was the first handset to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. As per a recent report, the device will now receive the latest Jelly Bean update – Android 4.2 in the next couple of weeks.As per a report by The Christian Post, the author Vincent Funaro states that the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update will be dished out to the Google Nexus 7 by the middle of November. This version of the OS comes preloaded on recently announced devices such as the Nexus 4, the Nexus 10, and the new Nexus 7.
