The Samsung Galaxy S is certain to go down the history books as one of the all-time great handsets. It has been more than a year into its lifecycle and it continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Samsung’s continued support for the Galaxy S has widened its fan following, even more. We’ve just learnt that a new version of Gingerbread 2.3.5 is hitting the I9000 in the U.K., right now. It’s slowly trickling in, so if you don’t have it yet, don’t worry, it's probably being done phase-wise. This will upgrade your current firmware to XXJVT, which if you remember leaked about a month ago. According to the source, the update will be available through Kies, so in case you were banking on OTA, you might want to plug it to your PC and give it a shot.
