Voot is an OTT incepted in 2016 as Viacom18’s digital subscription based video-on-demand streaming service. Engaging dramas, comedies, spoofs and everything in between - VOOT Originals offers the latest content for binge-watching. Voot Original series are made available only to paid subscribers. In February 2020, Voot introduced a paid subscription service called Voot Select. In addition it also has content specifically curated and popular among kids at Voot Kids. The application allows for parental control while browsing the app with a special Security Pin. Voot has also partnered with over 20 new distribution partners across the travel, broadband and mobile ecosystem as well as with OEMs (original equipment manufacturer). The platform has partnered with smart TV manufacturers like CloudWalker, ShareIt , Act Fibernet and travel network company OLA, among others. The OTT platform which is only available in India, United States and United Kingdom features content from Colors TV, MTV, Nickelodeon and other Viacom 18 owned television channels. It also hosts many Bollywood films for streaming. The platform’s content is also available in multiple languages like Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.
