The convoys "faced complete chaos and violence due to the collapse of civil order," according to a statement from the WFP. WFP had attempted to resume aid deliveries in northern Gaza after a three-week pause following a strike on an aid convoy from the Israeli military.
The recent ongoing shipments from India are being sent through Chabahar Port and being handed over to UNWFP at Herat in Afghanistan.

The billionaire further said he would sell his Tesla stock immediately to raise the money if the UN official is able to validate the claim.
The UN World Food Programme warned of severe shortages of food and fuel in Nepal caused by the ongoing major disruptions in imports across its southern border with India, saying that the land-locked country could face extreme hardship if prices of basic food staples continue to soar.
