Axis Bank played safe while Union Bank roughed it: Expert

Speaking to CNBC-TV18 about the bank’s performance, Vaibhav Agrawal of Angel Broking says that the bank has slowed down their balance sheet growth. “Axis bank has played it safe in this rate sensitive environment,” he explains.
Punjab & Sind Bank expects CASA of over 27% in FY12

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, PK Anand, Executive director of the bank said that Punjab & Sind Bank shall take a call on base rate hike next month. “We shall, however, not increase deposit rates,” he said.
