The Bihar government in recent months has announced that it plans to build three five-star hotels in Patna, including one at the site of the iconic over 100-year-old Sultan Palace.
This partnership is part of the global hospitality group's robust expansion strategy, driven by the growing demand for quality hospitality experiences in tier II to V cities across India, Radisson Hotel Group said in a statement.
In his new role, Sharma will lead Radisson Hotel Group's operations in the dynamic South Asia region, which has over 165 hotels in operation and development.
The announcement comes a months after Radisson Group announced the opening of its Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Ayodhya.
The hotel chain has been operating in India for over 15 years, adding close to seven properties every year.
The new identity leverages the brand equity of the Radisson name to drive awareness in the market place, increase marketing efficiency across the global portfolio and offer exceptional experiences to make 'Every Moment Matter' for guests, owners and talent, Radisson Hotel Group said in a statement.
