"My heart bleeds. There could not have been more mismanagement. There could not have been more failure for the administration. There was no risk management system. There should have been control over how many visitors were coming (to the venue)," the West Bengal Governor said.
KK died on Tuesday night due to a massive cardiac arrest after a live performance at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.
"Everybody is going gaga over KK, who is KK? We are better than any K," Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi said.
As more videos of the concert surfaced online, KK was seen sweating profusely and wiping his face with a hand towel as a person in the wings complains about the heat.
KK was feeling unwell after reaching his hotel, following a performance at a concert in the evening where he sang for almost an hour, officials said.
