It has never been better for sports bike lovers in India. Move over from the regular 100-150 cc commuter motorcycles, the big daddies of power bikes are here. Ducati, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, Hyosung… they are all here. And more players are keen to tap the Indian market.
Big bikes seem to be driving in big sales. The niche segment is selling 3000 bikes a month and is set to grow at 25% plus annually. With big players lining up new launches, the competition is also heating up, reports Swati Khandelwal Jain.
Bike lovers in India now have more reason to smile. Garware Motors and Korean giant S&T motors have joined hands to bring two new superbikes into the country, under the Hyosung banner, reports CNBC-TV18’s Swati Khandelwal Jain.
