Assam Congress leader writes to PM seeking financial aid for relief work in flood-hit areas

Debabrata Saikia, the Leader of the Opposition in the Assam Assembly, requested Prime Minister Narendra Mod fori a central package of at least Rs 20,000 crore for relief and rehabilitation activities in flood-affected districts in the last three to four years.
