Who is Aviva Baig? Delhi woman set to tie the knot with Priyanka Gandhi's son Raihan Vadra

Raihan Vadra, son of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and businessman Robert Vadra, has reportedly exchanged rings with his long-time girlfriend, Aviva Baig.

The two have been together for seven years and their engagement was confirmed by sources to NDTV.

Since the news of their engagement came out on Tuesday, public curiosity has turned towards Aviva Baig – her family background, career, among others.

Who is Aviva Baig?

Aviva Baig hails from a Delhi-based family that is known to be close to the Vadras. She studied Journalism and Mass Communication at OP Jindal Global University and completed her schooling in Humanities at Modern School in Delhi, as per her LinkedIn profile.

She is the co-founder of Atelier 11, a photographic studio and production company that works with agencies, brands, and clients across India. Her photography captures everyday life.

Her work focusses strongly on nature, everyday life and visual storytelling. Her photographs are known for blending simplicity with complex emotional narratives, often capturing life from the perspective of a quiet observer.

According to her website, “Aviva Baig is a Delhi-based photographer whose art captures the versatility of life. Her works reflect the confluence between the simplicity and the complexity of everyday living."

Over the past five years, Aviva has exhibited her work across prominent platforms in India. Her exhibitions include ‘You Cannot Miss This’ with Method Gallery in 2023, participation in the India Art Fair’s Young Collector Programme the same year, ‘The Illusory World’ at The Quorum Club in 2019, and India Design ID with K2 India in 2018.

Apart from her artistic pursuits, Aviva is also a former national-level football player. She has nearly 11,000 followers on Instagram.

Beyond photography, Aviva has worked across multiple roles in media and communications. She is a freelance producer with PlusRymn and has previously worked as a junior project manager at PROPAGANDA. Her professional experience also includes stints as a marketing intern at Art Chain India and editor-in-chief of The Journal at I Parliament, according to a report by India Today.

Relationship with Raihan Vadra

Raihan Vadra, 25, is an installation and visual artist who has held a solo exhibition titled ‘Dark Perception’. He is also known for his interest in nature photography and travel, and has largely kept away from public political engagements.

The couple has reportedly been together for the past seven years.
