Shiv Sena-UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has lashed out at Pakistani social media accounts for mocking the Tejas plane crash in which Wing Commander Namansh Syal lost his life.
Expressing her anger, the Rajya Sabha MP reminded the trolls that they live in a country which is living off World Bank and IMF aid. "Some Pakistani social media accounts are mocking the Tejas crash. Imagine living in a terrorist country that literally lives off World Bank and IMF aid," she posted on X.
Shutting down trolls, Priyanka added, "People who have only Made-in-China toys to show off should be the last to talk about indigenous defense fighter jets. These people can only create suicide bomber squads".

With the mention of 'Made-in-China toys', the Shiv Sena-UBT MP indirectly took a dig at Pakistan's use of China-made during the May clash with India. The conflict marked Pakistan’s first major use of modern Chinese weapons, including PL-15 and HQ-9P missiles, as well as JF-17 and J-10 fighter jets. Yet, these systems failed spectacularly against India’s aerial defence, highlighting Islamabad’s overreliance on China.
