The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday issued a formal statement regarding an email linked to Epstein Files. The email reportedly mentioned Prime Minister Modi's Israel trip.

The MEA has said that the email "deserves to be dismissed with the utmost contempt”. "We have seen reports of an email message from the so-called Epstein files that has a reference to the Prime Minister and his visit to Israel. Beyond the fact of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Israel in July 2017, the rest of the allusions in the email are little more than trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal, which deserve to be dismissed with the utmost contempt," the statement read.

New Epstein Files release

Meanwhile, US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the latest disclosure of Jeffrey Epstein-related records, released on Friday, represents the final set of documents the Donald Trump administration intended to make public under legislation mandating full transparency on the case.

Speaking at a press briefing, Blanche said the release comprises more than three million pages of records, along with roughly 2,000 videos and about 180,000 images.

The material was made public several weeks after the December 19 deadline set by Congress. Lawmakers had passed the bipartisan measure requiring the disclosure of all Epstein-related files despite prolonged resistance from Trump, who had sought to prevent their release.

Blanche acknowledged that significant portions of the documents remain redacted. He said the redactions were carried out to safeguard victims and to avoid compromising active investigations, as allowed under the law. As an example, he pointed to an 82-page document in which all but a single page had been fully blacked out.
