Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday, accompanied by Deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and other cabinet ministers took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. This marks the second time the entire state cabinet consisting of 54 ministers has participated in the sacred ritual.
After the meeting, CM Adityanath and his ministers had boarded a special boat to take part in the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Shortly after taking the holy dip at Triveni Sangam, the Chief Minister took to the microblogging site X to share a video of the ritual.

Earlier in the day, the Uttar Pradesh government convened a special Cabinet meeting in Prayagraj, where several important proposals were discussed and approved. The meeting focused on the sustainable development of Prayagraj and surrounding areas, with a special emphasis on infrastructure projects.
“We will develop a region to support sustainable development in Prayagraj and its surrounding areas. An extension of the Ganga Expressway will be carried out, connecting Prayagraj to Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Kashi, Chandauli, and ultimately linking to the Purvanchal Expressway in Ghazipur,” CM Yogi Adityanath said after the meeting.
The cabinet also discussed policies related to aerospace, defense, and employment, with new incentives announced to revise the policies introduced in 2018.
