Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday invited representatives of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) to invest in the state and tap into the vast opportunities in the IT and services sectors.

Naidu held a meeting with a Nasscom delegation at Undavalli in Guntur district and encouraged the IT industry body to partner with the state.

“Naidu invited representatives from Nasscom to invest in Andhra Pradesh and tap into the vast opportunities in the IT and services sectors,” an official press release said. The Chief Minister explained that the state is making efforts to deliver technology-driven services to the people and has created a data lake treating each household as a unit, with plans to expand services based on this system, the release added.

The TDP supremo noted that, just as IT was promoted during his earlier tenure, his current focus is on advancing quantum computing.

Naidu said the state is committed to bringing transformative changes to the education system and ensuring that investors have access to skilled human resources by upgrading the skills of the population.

Meanwhile, Nasscom representatives expressed interest in working with the Andhra Pradesh government in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector and introducing new technologies, the release further said.
