Sisodia's counsel argued that the ED and the CBI are still making arrests in the money laundering and corruption case, indicating that the trial is far from an early conclusion.

During the bail petition hearing of AAP leader Manish Sisodia on May 14, the ED lawyer informed the Delhi High Court that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would also be implicated in the case, and a supplementary chargesheet would be filed soon, ANI has reported.

Despite only 17 arrests, over 250 petitions have been filed, leading to the investigation officer's frequent court appearances, as mentioned by the ED while opposing Sisodia's bail petitions.

The ED's submission was made while opposing the bail plea of former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in the money laundering case.

The ED's counsel argued before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, who is hearing Sisodia's bail plea, that the AAP will be named a co-accused in the next charge sheet to be filed in the case.

"AAP is going to be made a co-accused in the next prosecution complaint (charge sheet) to be filed in the case," ED's counsel contended before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma.

He also claimed that there are deliberate efforts by the accused to delay the framing of charges.

In response, Sisodia's counsel argued that the ED and the CBI are still making arrests in the money laundering and corruption case, indicating that the trial is far from an early conclusion. Further arguments on the bail plea are ongoing.

Three top AAP leaders, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, and Sisodia, have been arrested and jailed in the Delhi liquor policy case. Additionally, K Kavitha, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, has also faced action in this case.
