While wet towels are a common point of argument between couples, it turned out to be deadly for one South Korean man, who was stabbed to death by his Indian partner inside the flat that they were living in, in Greater Noida.

The incident happened on Saturday at 2 am and started after the couple had an argument over a wet towel, after which, the woman, Lunjeena Pamai, stabbed her partner Duck Jee Yuh in the chest.

The argument began when Pamai used Yuh's towel and left it wet after taking a bath on Saturday. This infuriated Yuh, who reportedly liked keeping his towel separate from his partner's.

Yuh then apparently verbally abused Pamai, after which, she packed a bag and was about to leave the flat. A report by India Today sai that Yuh picked up a kitchen knife to stop Pamai, who then stabbed him in the chest with the same kitchen knife. The kife reached his heart, the report said.

Duck's body has been handed over to the embassy and Pamai has been arrested. The post-mortem of the body was also done, the report said.

Yuh was a manager in a private company and had met Pamai a few years ago, after which they had started staying in sector 150 of Noida, together.
