Right then, that brings an end to the series. Litton Das collects the trophy and joins his jubilant teammates for the customary photos. This wraps up Bangladesh's tour of the West Indies. The Test series ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, while the West Indies dominated the ODI series with a clean sweep, only for Bangladesh to return the favour by whitewashing the T20I series. With this, both teams conclude their cricketing commitments for the year. The West Indies will be back in action in January with a two-match Test series in Pakistan. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, take care and goodbye!

The captain of Bangladesh, Litton Das says that the head coach Phil Simmons gives them the freedom to express themselves. Adds that they were not under any pressure despite being whitewashed in the ODI series. Feels that the batters did well in all games and 189 was an excellent total on this wicket. Shares that they are trying to improve with every game in all three departments.

The captain of West Indies, Rovman Powell says that they bowled well during the middle overs but could not execute well during the Powerplay and at the death. Feels that they need to avoid wickets losing wickets in clusters. Adds that losing wickets in the Powerplay has become a pattern in the last few series. Reckons that taking some time off as a T20 group will help them in assessing well. Lauds Bangladesh for the way they played and wishes them safe travels home. Ends by thanking the crowd for their support.

Mahedi Hasan is the PLAYER OF THE SERIES for taking 8 wickets in the series. Mentions he likes to bowl on such surfaces and his experience from the Global Super League has helped him a lot. Closes by saying that they as a side were upset about losing the ODI series but the hunger in the squad made them do well in the shorter format and they are now looking forward to the Champions Trophy.

Jaker Ali is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliance with the bat. He says that it was a wonderful tour for him. Shares that the wicket was very good as compared to the last two games. Mentions that he knew that if he gave himself time, he could make it up later. Tells that he was angry with himself for being involved in the two run outs but he is happy that he made up by scoring the runs.

Time for the presentation ceremony...

Earlier in the game, Bangladesh made a strong start after opting to bat, but West Indies fought back by tightening things up during the middle overs. Just when it looked like the hosts had gained control, Jaker Ali took charge. A dramatic run-out incident involving Shamim Hossain and Jaker saw the latter storm off the field before the third umpire intervened, correctly adjudging Shamim out. After his return, Jaker was unstoppable, blasting a brilliant 41-ball 72, which helped Bangladesh finish with 189. For West Indies, Roston Chase was the most economical, conceding just 15 runs from his 4 overs while also picking up a wicket. Their death bowling continued to be a concern, as they conceded 75 runs from the final 5 overs.

With 190 never having been chased before in T20Is at Arnos Vale Ground, West Indies were up against history. They were rocked early in the Powerplay, losing three of their top four batters. From that point, the hosts could never recover as Bangladesh kept chipping away at the wickets. Litton Das rotated his bowlers effectively, and the bowlers responded brilliantly. Romario Shepherd was left with too much to do with the tail, and his departure was the final nail in the coffin for the hosts. All 5 bowlers used had at least a wicket to their name but it was Rishad Hossain who stood out with figures of 3 for 21 from his 4 overs.

History created in Kingstown! Bangladesh have whitewashed West Indies for the first time in a bilateral T20I series. After being blanked 3-0 in the ODI series, the Tigers have roared back in style to exact sweet revenge on the hosts. West Indies have been thoroughly outplayed and outclassed by the visitors, and they will end the year on a disappointing note.

16.4OUT! BANGLADESH COMPLETE THE CLEAN SWEEP! Good length delivery angled into the middle and leg from around the wicket, McCoy swings across the line and misses. The ball hits the timber and Bangladesh win by a massive margin of 80 runs to take the series 3-0.

Obed McCoy walks out to bat.

14.4OUT! TAKEN! RISHAD GETS HIS THIRD! Soft dismissal and another one bites the dust! Shortish googly, around off. Alzarri Joseph hits it straight to Hasan Mahmud at cover who takes a simple catch to his right. West Indies are on the verge of a huge defeat.

14.3Leg break, around off. Shepherd knocks it through covers for one.

14.2Wrong'un, just outside off. Alzarri Joseph dabs it through point for one.

Alzarri Joseph is the new man in.

14.1OUT! CAUGHT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Tossed up full, at the stumps. Motie heaves it high toward the long-off region where Tanzim Hasan Sakib settles under it and takes a simple catch. West Indies are seven down.

A slight hold-up in play as Rishad Hossain wants some sawdust to be applied to the landing area. We are good to go now.

13.6Full and slower outside off. Motie pushes it towards backward point and hustles for a single.

13.5Full and at the stumps. Whipped to deep mid-wicket for one.

11.2SIX! BANG! Tossed up around off. Motie gets low and slogs it with the wind, has enough to clear the deep square leg fence for half a dozen.

11.1Googly, on the middle and leg. Shepherd turns it through backward square leg for one.

10.6Pitched full, wide outside off. Driven to deep backward point for one.

10.1Short of a good length, around off. Shepherd defends into the off-side.

9.6Tossed up, full and on off, Gudakesh Motie knocks it back to the bowler.

Time for Drinks! West Indies are in deep trouble at 60/6 in pursuit of 190 runs. All of their batters are back in the hut and it looks like a tall ask for the lower order. Bangladesh are on the verge of a historic whitewash and will look to wrap up the innings in a jiffy. Also, Gudakesh Motie walks in at 8.

9.5OUT! EDGED AND GONE! The disappointed faces in the crowd say it all! A massive blow to West Indies. Rishad offers flight and bowls it on a length, around off, Rovman Powell makes room to go up and over cover but the ball lands and spins away just enough to graze the outside edge. The keeper Litton Das gets his gloves together in the correct position and snaffles it with ease. West Indies slip further into trouble.

9.4Flatter and shorter, on middle, Romario Shepherd tucks it in the vacant mid-wicket region for one.

9.3SIX! High and handsome! A bit too full from Rishad, on off, Romario Shepherd gets underneath the ball nicely and lofts it over deep extra cover for a biggie.

9.2Turning away, short and around off, Romario Shepherd stays back and knocks it back to the bowler.

9.1Drops it short now, on off, Romario Shepherd pushes it back to Rishad.

8.6Slanting back in, on a good length, on middle and leg, Rovman Powell looks to play it with a straight bat. Gets an inside edge onto the front pad.

8.5This skids off the deck, on a back of a length, on middle, Rovman Powell is beaten for pace as he swivels for the pull. The ball goes under his bat and hits him near the waist.

8.4Short and wide on off, Romario Shepherd slaps it aerially but well wide of deep cover to his left for a single.

8.4Wide! Banged in short, over off, Romario Shepherd lets it go. The ball goes over his head for a wide.

8.3Leg bye! Sliding onto the pads, on a nagging length, Powell misses the tickle and the ball rolls away off the pads to deep fine leg for a leg bye.

8.2Lands it on a hard length, on off, Rovman Powell hangs back to keep it out. Gets an inside edge onto the pads.

8.1A big shout for LBW and up goes the finger! It looked to be sliding down leg and Rovman Powell has taken the review. Nipping back in, on a back of a length, on middle and leg, Rovman Powell gets on his toes to work it away on the leg side with a closed bat face. Gets beaten on the inside edge and gets hit high on the thigh pad. The Ball Tracking shows that the ball is going past the leg stump. Powell survives!

7.6Turning away, short and around off, Rovman Powell hangs back and whips it to mid-wicket for a single.

7.5Oh, that could have ended badly for Powell! Fuller and slower, on off, Rovman Powell gets inside the line to play the lap. The ball comes off the gloves but it is a big deflection that takes the ball away from the keeper's gloves. It hits Litton Das on the left thigh and drops down.

7.4Fired in, short and on off, Rovman Powell steers it to backward point.

6.6Wide! Very full and down leg, Romario Shepherd misses the tickle.

Romario Shepherd is in at 7.

6.5OUT! RUN OUT! A lackadaisical piece of running and Johnson Charles pays the ultimate price! Mahmud bowls it on a length, at the stumps, Rovman Powell firms the drive in front of mid on and sets off for the run. Rishad Hossain swoops in and scores a direct hit at the batting end. Charles is not expecting the throw to come at his end and does not stretch his bat fully forward. Bangladesh start celebrating as soon as the throw hits the stumps. It is referred upstairs and the replays confirm that Charles' bat was on the line and no part of it was behind the crease when the bails were dislodged.

6.4In the channel on off, on a hard length, Rovman Powell stabs it down on the off side.

Rovman Powell is in at 6.

6.3OUT! TAKEN! Hasan Mahmud strikes in his first over! Angling in, on a back of a length, on middle and leg, Chase looks to get on his toes to nudge it away on the leg side. Closes the bat face early and the ball balloons off a leading edge towards mid off where Mahedi Hasan takes a few steps to his left and takes the catch while tumbling backwards. He releases the ball a bit too early in celebration and it is referred upstairs to check whether Mahedi was in control of the catch before releasing the ball. The third umpire is satisfied with Mahedi's effort and Chase will have to continue walking.

6.2A clever change of pace, on a length, around off, Charles looks to push it away on the off side. Gets an inside edge down to deep third for a run.

6.1On a nagging length, on off, Charles has a swipe across the line. He fails to connect and gets hit on the thigh pad.

5.6Floated up, fuller and on middle, Chase clips it straight to mid-wicket.

5.5Keeps it flat and short, on middle, Chase turns it to mid-wicket.

5.4Fired in, short and turning in, on middle, Chase goes on the back foot to nudge it away but misses and wears it high on the thigh pad.

Roston Chase is in at 5.

5.3OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Mahedi gets the big fish! This is bowled from wide of the crease on the around-the-wicket angle, slower and shorter, on the off stump line, Nicholas Pooran hangs on the back foot to get the pull shot away. He is through his shot early and the ball does not quite bounce as much as Pooran expected. It sneaks under his angled bat and crashes into the stumps. Pooran falls to Mahedi for the third time in the series.

5.2FOUR! As easy as you like! A half-tracker, on middle, Pooran presses back and pulls it over mid-wicket for a boundary.

5.1Floated up, full and on off, pushed back to Mahedi.

4.6Angling in, on leg, on a back of a length, Johnson Charles just stands there, thinking that the ball will go past him. It hits him on the thigh pad but Charles does not flinch at all.

4.6Wide! Takes pace off does Taskin, on a back of a length, outside off, Johnson Charles looks to go over cover but misses. A harsh call as the ball was just inside the tramline on off.

4.1On a hard length, on off, Johnson Charles steers it down to deep backward point for a single.

3.6Pushed through, short and on off, Nicholas Pooran chops it down on the off side.

3.5Short and on middle, Johnson Charles jabsit through mid-wicket and crosses over.

3.4A confident shout for LBW but turned down! Mahedi is convinced and Litton Das takes the review. This is slower through the air, fuller as well, around off, Johnson Charles switches his stance as he goes for the switch hit. Gets beaten in the flight and wears it on the waist. No bat involved but the Ball Tracking shows that the impact is outside off. Bangladesh lose a review.

3.3This goes straight on, short and on off, Johnson Charles punches it to cover.

3.2FOUR! Short and punished! Way too short, on middle and leg, Johnson Charles moves away to the leg side and unleashes the pull to the right of deep mid-wicket for a boundary.

3.1Bowled with a round-arm action, short and following the batter, Johnson Charles backs away and tucks it wide of square leg for a couple of runs.

2.6FOUR! Slapped away! Short and wide on off, Nicholas Pooran hops and frees his arms to cut it through cover-point for the third boundary of the over. 14 runs off the over. The move to take Taskin off after just one over and bring Sakib into the attack did not work out well for Litton Das.

2.6Wide! Sprayed down leg, on a length, left alone by Pooran. Good diving take by Litton to his right.

2.5Angling in, on a nagging length, tucking the batter up for room, Johnson Charles eases it wide of mid on for one.

2.3FOUR! Crunched! On a back of a length, outside off, Johnson Charles clears his front leg and pummels it over mid-wicket for a boundary.

2.2Play and a miss! This skids through, on a back of a length, around off, Johnson Charles tries to steer it down to deep third but misses.

2.1On a good length, on off, Johnson Charles defends it right under his eyes.

1.6Bowled from wide of the crease, angling in, on off, on a length, Nicholas Pooran presses forward in defence.

1.5Speared in, full and at the stumps, Nicholas Pooran lunges to block it out.

1.4Pushed through, full and on off, Nicholas Pooran dabs it down on the off side.

Nicholas Pooran walks in at 4.

1.3OUT! TAKEN! The risk does not pay off for Justin Greaves! Floated up, full and at the stumps, Justin Greaves backs away and shapes up to take on the long on fielder. Fails to get the power behind the shot to clear the fence. It gets skied towards long on where the substitute fielder, Afif Hossain settles under it and takes a safe catch.

1.2Attacking the stumps, on a length, Johnson Charles nudges it to the left of square leg for one more.

1.1Tossed up, full and on the pads, Justin Greaves clips it to deep square leg for a single.

Mahedi Hasan to bowl from the other end.

0.6Swing and a miss! This nips away off the deck, on a nagging length, outside off, Johnson Charles clears his front leg and swings to go back over the bowler's head but misses.

0.5Honing in at the stumps, on a good length, Justin Greaves stays back and jabs it to the right of mid on for a single.

0.4At 140.5 kph, angling into the right-hander, on middle and leg, Justin Greaves whips it up and over mid-wicket for another brace.

0.3Full and swinging away, on off, Justin Greaves leans on it and drives it past backward point for a couple of runs. Justin Greaves gets off the mark in T20I cricket.

Justin Greaves, on T20I debut, is in at 3.

0.2OUT! LBW! A loud shout and the finger is raised! Brandon King has a word with his partner and takes the review. The only factor that could save King is if the ball is doing too much. After getting the ball to shape away on the previous ball, Taskin brings this one back into the right-hander, on a length, on middle, Brandon King plants his front foot across to play the flick but his head falls over to the off side. Gets beaten on the inside edge and gets rapped on the front pad. No bat involved and the Ball Tracking shows three reds with the ball crashing into the leg stump. Taskin dismisses King for the third time in the series.
