Zepto will exclusively operate a dark store inside the Bharat Mandapam complex during the IndiaAI Impact Summit next week, officials said, while Swiggy will integrate with on-ground food kiosks to handle meal deliveries for attendees.
Officials said the move is part of a wider effort to manage logistics for what is expected to be the world’s largest global gathering focused on artificial intelligence, with registrations touching 2.5 lakh so far.
Entry to the venue will be enabled through DigiYatra, while overseas visitors will be able to make local payments using an app linked to the Unified Payments Interface.
Healthcare support will be provided by Apollo Hospitals, which will deploy medical staff and emergency beds within the premises to handle any emergencies.
Officials added that the summit will be organised as a zero-waste event, with construction material reused from a previous programme held at Bharat Mandapam.
Meanwhile, a vice minister from China and a cabinet-level official from the United States will attend the summit in New Delhi, officials said on February 14. They will be part of a ministerial delegation drawn from nearly 40 countries.
Leaders from about 20 countries, including France, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Switzerland and Spain, are expected to attend, while official delegations from nearly 100 nations will take part in discussions.
Several bilateral meetings are also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the summit.
