FanCode, the sports content platform owned by Dream11 parent Dream Sports, on January 5 announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with ATP Media to expand its sports offering with the addition of tennis.
As part of the agreement, FanCode will hold exclusive broadcast and streaming rights to ATP Tour’s marquee tennis events in the Indian Subcontinent until 2028.
The deal covers 56 events, including the Nitto ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, and ATP 250 tournaments, with matches available live and on demand on the platform. It's worth noting that Grand Slam tournaments are not part of the ATP Tour rights package.
FanCode stated that it will offer live matches along with non-live content, highlights, features, and a weekly tennis programme tailored for fans in the region, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Nepal.
"Tennis fans will now get to follow the world’s best players throughout the year, making FanCode the go-to destination for the sport. We look forward to working with ATP Media to grow the sport in the region," said FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco.
ATP Media CEO Mark Webster said “The Indian Subcontinent represents a number of key markets for both existing and potential tennis fans and by partnering with a market leading, innovative digital platform in FanCode we hope to mutually grow the game in the region via a partner who shares many of the same ambitions as ourselves.”
This partnership comes shortly after FanCode expanded its broadcast partnership with Formula 1 through a new three-year deal, making it the home for the sport in the Indian subcontinent until the end of the 2028 season.
As part of the extended agreement, users will also be able to subscribe to F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium directly through FanCode in India, providing exclusive access to a comprehensive content library for the sport. FanCode will also hold broadcast rights across Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
