A bookshelf is a prized a possession for every bookworm. Gone are the days when people would arrange their books on a boring old shelf. Today, it’s all about creating a space that is unique. This tutorial will help you achieve that. So to learn how to make an ‘invisible’ book shelf follow these steps.
Materials needed
Books ‘L’ bracket Measuring tape/ruler Strong glue Knife Small and large screws Screwdriver/drill
Method
Step 1
Once you have decided the placement of the invisible shelf, begin by choosing a hardbound book that you might not want to read again. Now using a measuring tape or a ruler measure the size of the book and mark its center on the last page of the book. Ensure you mark the center in such a way that the ‘L’ bracket’s larger circumference in placed against the bottom of the book.
Step 2
Now use a knife to cut out the L shape into the book so it fits well. You could either use strong glue to secure the bracket or you could attach the bracket onto the book using smaller screws. Ensure the glue/screw holds all the pages together tightly as all the other books will be stacked on this one.
Step 3
Use a drill to drill holes on the wall and secure the ‘L’ bracket with some large screws. Once all the screws are in place,  keep all the other books on this and viola you have your own floating or invisible bookshelf.
