The market regulator's pavilion at the 43rd edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) was awarded gold under the Public Communication and Outreach category.
A press release issued on November 29, Friday, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said, "In recognition of the Excellence in Display in the 43rd International Trade Fair (IITF), the SEBI pavilion was awarded with ‘Gold Medal’ under ‘Public Communication and Outreach’ category by Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director of ITPO, in the presence of representatives from SEBI, Exchanges, Depositories, NISM, and AMFI on November 27, 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi".
As part of its efforts to spread investor awareness, SEBI, in collaboration with NISM, BSE, NSE, MCX, NCDEX, CDSL, NSDL and AMFI hosted the 7th edition of its pavilion, 'BHARAT KAA SHARE BAZAAR' at the 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF), 2024 held from November 14-27, 2024. This event was organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Over the course of the 14-day event, the pavilion featured a range of activities, including talk shows by market experts, skits, and muppet shows, aimed at spreading investor education and awareness. These activities also cautioned the public against illegal money mobilization schemes and online investment scams.
