
In an effort to strengthen leadership depth and build future-ready capabilities across businesses, Niket Shah, Chief Investment Officer at Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company, is set to move into a new role as Managing Director within the Group’s Principal Investments business.

In the current financial year alone, more than 200 role movements have taken place across the Group, reflecting our deep commitment to nurturing internal talent and creating long-term organizational strength," said Motilal Oswal in a release.
Over his 14-year journey with the Group, Niket has contributed across multiple businesses, including Institutional Equities and Asset Management, and has consistently created value through his leadership, investment acumen, and deep understanding of our organization, added the financial services firm. "We thank Niket for his outstanding contributions so far and wish him every success as he takes on this important new responsibility."

Niket Shah was elevated to the chief investment officer (CIO) role at Motilal Oswal AMC in 2024, after spending 11 years in the organization. He oversaw the Motilal Oswal Flexicap Fund and Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund with AUM exceeding Rs 18,000 crore.
