Bulk deals: Quant MF buys Rs 183 cr stake in Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels

Quant Small Cap Fund bought Rs 182.97 crore worth of shares in the newly-listed Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels. The fund picked up 93,20,000 shares or a 4.37 percent stake at an average price of Rs 196.33.

In another development, TT Asia Pacific Equity Fund bought 11,25,349 shares in Park Hotels at Rs 186.15 per share. Asia Pacific fund acquired Rs 20.94 crore worth of equity in the company. AL Mehwar Commercial Investments LLC TreeFish bought 20,90,992 shares at the same price, buying Rs 38.92 crore worth shares in the company.

Meanwhile, Dovetail India Fund Class 11 shares sold 5,00,000 shares of SMS Pharmaceuticals at an average price of Rs 152.45, offloading Rs 7.62 crore worth of shares.

On NSE, SMS Pharmaceuticals closed at Rs 148.9, up by 1.78 percent from the previous day’s close.

In Hindustan Foods, Sixth Sense India Opportunities 11 sold 6,00,000 shares or 0.52 percent stake at an average price of Rs 552.93. Sixth Sense sold Rs 33.17 crore worth of shares in the open market. Sixth Sense held 3.02 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

On NSE, shares of Hindustan Foods closed flat at Rs 545, up by 0.49 percent from the previous day’s close.
