Oil prices slipped nearly 2% on talks of OPEC raising output to cool prices and a rise in US jobless claims. Currently it is trading at USD 85.12 per barrel.

In the base metal space copper rose the most in two weeks on speculation that low US borrowing costs will buoy demand for industrial metals.
